Care:

The Platycerium Bifurcatum is satisfied with a place in the light or in semi-shade. Keep the potting soil moist but avoid too much water. This plant doesn’t like wet feet either. The mantle leaves (the shorter leaves) of the staghorn fern turn brown over time. Do not remove this sheet. After a while, the sheath leaves fall off one by one and the Platycerium Bifurcatum gets extra nutrition through the potting soil! The leaves also have a layer of wax that protects the plant against too much evaporation. This makes the plant resistant to dry air.
